Neighborhood helpers
Star Plow connects neighborhood kids with homeowners who want extra snow help. This is a referral service, not a job: Star Plow doesn't pay helpers. Homeowners pay helpers directly, and helpers keep 100% of what they earn.
How it works
- Homeowners send their helper requests to Star Plow.
- Star Plow plans the routes and splits the jobs evenly between helpers, so no one group gets all the work.
- The homeowner pays the helper directly.
What helpers do
- Front porches and walkways to the front door.
- Driveways that have a parked car in them.
- Helpers don't clear sidewalks or full driveways. Star Plow does that work.
Sign-up window
Helpers sign up before the season starts. Sign-ups close on [SIGN-UP DEADLINE], and there are no late sign-ups mid-season.
A parent or guardian must approve every helper.
